Incinerator

Function and Features:

The  incinerator comprises a fume pre-heat heat exchanger, burner system and oxidizing chamber and an oven fresh air pre-heat exchanger. The flow of the oven fume is caused to enter the fume pre-heater exchanger by oven exhaust fan and the pre-heated fume then enters the oxidizing chamber first passing through burner. This system is direct gas fired.

 (1) Oven fresh air pre-heat exchanger covers heat load for each oven, chemical dryer, hot air dryer for print coating.

 (2) A dilution duct and damper system complete with temperature control arrangement shall be provided to guard against any overheating of the incinerator.

 (3) The burner is designed specifically for fume incineration and the chamber in which the burner is mounted is lined with a soft wall insulation to minimize heat loss.

(4) The clean afterburner gas shall then exhaust through the hot side of the fume pre-heat heat exchanger releasing a portion of its heat energy to the incoming oven fume. The cooled gas then enters the oven fresh air pre-heat exchanger and is further cooled by heating the fresh air.

(5)This design arrangement removes the major oven energy load by pre-heating the ventilating air and also reduces the after burner load by pre-heating the incoming oven fume.

 (6) An induced draft fan shall be provided to draw the clean gas through the two heat  exchangers and discharger to stack.

(7)All the hot flow ductwork shall be designed to be fully insulated in the field during insulation.

(8)The design of the ductwork will accommodate expansion movement and where necessary expansion joints will be utilized or built into the equipment in the case of the heat exchangers.
